Über Uns
IHMA - International Human and Medical Aid - is a global aid organization founded in June 2017 in Salzburg, Austria. The board consists of six members who come from both the medical and the non-medical environment. Our organization's top priority is helping people to help themselves in our respective fields of work. Joint aid projects will eventually be handed over to local supervisors after they have been able to independently implement expertise through our training. Our knowledge and our experience should be available to people in need without restrictions in order to achieve long-term success in the respective projects. By promoting social skills, we also create a peaceful environment, even in circumstances such as war or natural disasters. The common values of IHMA are: Promoting neutrality in terms of ethnic origin, skin color, religion or political sentiment. Small, transparent, global projects in direct collaboration with local supervisors. IHMA - International Human and Medical Aid – also works in partnership with other organization which complement our field of expertise, both nationally and internationally. Close cooperation already exists in Nepal, India, Africa, the Dominican Republic. We are also supporting projects in the European refugee aid and organizing relief transports to Romania and Bulgaria. In addition, we take care of the support of "First Nation" residents (Natives) in Vancouver Island, Canada. . .

Other important goals of IHMA are:
- Provision of infrastructure for primary care.
- Prophylaxis and treatment (including medication) of diseases which are under supplied in each country. In the tropical areas with special attention to the three most dangerous diseases: Malaria, Tuberculosis and HIV / AIDS.
- Training of local staff taking into account local practices, both in the medical field, as well as improving living conditions and nutrition
- WASH Projects (Water, Santiation Hygienic). Through these diseases that are transmitted in poor hygienic conditions can be reduced. Improving sanitary conditions, as well as clean drinking water and personal hygiene, help to improve the overall hygienic situation and increase the quality of life.
- One of our biggest concerns is the care of infants, children and pregnant women. In doing so, we put the focus on mental and medical care. Supportive courses in infant care, as well as the treatment of childhood illnesses also belong to this area.

There is also much you can do besides or apart from membership. You can for example help in the association and thus, so to speak, “donate working hours”. Of course donations in form of money or material assets are also very helpful.
If you are part of your own humanitarian operation, we are always happy to start meaningful cooperations.
