Für die einen ein Traum Urlaubsland – für viele Einheimische ein Kampf ums Überleben 
Mit Hilfe von Mandy Lawson, die seit Jahren in Cabuya wohnt, konnten wir ein neues Projekt starten.
Sie und ihr Mann Johanne unterstützen seit Jahren bedürftige Familien im Dorf Cabuya, dem Heimatort von Johanne. Zusätzliche Hilfe aus Europe macht nun mehr möglich.
Viele Familien in Costa Rica leben in bitterster Armut und kämpfen täglich ums Überleben.
So haben wir grüne Taschen gepackt mit Grundnahrungsmitteln, Seifen, Zahnbürsten und natürlich etwas Süßes für die Kinder. So sind die Familien für eine Zeit wieder mit dem Wichtigsten eingedeckt. 
Die Überraschung ist gelungen, einige fragten nach, ob das wirklich auch für sie sei?…. und ob sie die Tasche wieder zurück geben müssten?…. 
Für Weihnachten planen wir eine Aktion, um den 70 Kindern dieser Familien Weihnachtsgeschenke zu bescheren. Kein Kind soll leer ausgehen! 
For some it is a dream holiday destination – for many locals a struggle for survival
With the help of Mandy Lawson, who has lived in Cabuya for years, we were able to start a new project.
She and her husband Johanne have been supporting families in need in the village of Cabuya, Johanne’s hometown, for years. Additional help from Europe now makes more possible.
Many families in Costa Rica live in dire poverty and struggle to survive every day.
So we packed green bags with basic food, soaps, toothbrushes and of course something sweet for the children. So the families are covered for the most important things again for a while.
The surprise was successful, some asked whether it was really for them?…. and whether you have to give the bag back?….
For Christmas we are planning a campaign to bring Christmas presents to the 70 children in these families. No child shall go empty-handed! –
